![]() ![]() My first attempt at purchasing the Maschine MK3 was back in 2017 but they didn’t have any stock so I was refunded. ![]() Dit is natuurlijk mijn persoonlijke mening, iedereen is vrij om te kopen wat hij wil :-).Read Time2 Minute, 9 Second First things first, what took you so long? ![]() Je zou kunnen kiezen voor een andere DAW maar de prijs speelt ook een rol, sommige hardware en controllers zijn nu eenmaal duur in aankoop en vragen meer tijd om aan te leren. Je kan het heel snel aanleren zonder al teveel moeite. Ik vind de workflow van Maschine heel eenvoudig, snel en gemakkelijk. Waarom gebruik ik hiervoor Maschine Jam en niet een andere controller/DAW gelijk Push en Ableton. Of je kan ook omgekeerd te werk gaan, ze zet je track in loop en je maak er een nieuw nummer van. Je kan het misschien al raden maar ik gebruik Maschine vooral in mijn DJ sets om On-The-Fly loops te maken en deze te mixen met mijn andere tracks. Via de Ableton Link functie doe ik een sync met Serato. maar dat wil nu ook niet zeggen dat het een minderwaardige DAW is. Ik zou Maschine nu niet onmiddellijk gaan vergelijken met een DAW gelijk FL Studio, Ableton, Bitwig. ![]() Maschine is een software die al verschillende evoluties heeft meegemaakt en in vergelijking met de eerste versies is er veel verbeterd. Pas op: dusdanig verslavend dat je voor je t weet hardware synthesizer aan t shoppen bent. Dat is een feest, onder andere vanwege de dikke softwares synths die mee worden geleverd (mn Monark en Massive zijn te gek). Al met al ben ik veel meer gaan produceren dan ik vooraf had verwacht. Door te switchen op de controller kun je beide softwares parrallel gebruiken.ĭaarnaast gebruik ik Ableton Live steeds meer: de bijgeleverde Template voor Live werkt goed (waarbij de Jam dus als Ableton controller werkt) en ook hier kan ie dubbele functies aan als ik de Maschine VST draai in Ableton kan ik hier ook switchen via Midi modus / Native modus, en zowel Ableton als Maschine gebruiken.ĭe controller is stevig gebouwd, en de feedback werkt zoals je zou verwachten. Ik kocht m om naast Traktor ook Maschine te kunnen gebruiken, dat werkt super! Sterker nog, ik gebruik de Jam tegelijkertijd als controller voor Traktor (in Midi modus) en voor Maschine (in Native modus). Last but not least, finding instruments, samples and effects is simple thanks to the intuitive Browse mode. Combine multiple instruments and effects parameters using the built-in macros and fine-tune your work with Smart Strips. The sequencing doesn't only work with melodies, but also with rhythms and tempos. This way, you can develop truly unique sounds in real time which you can then import into your DAW for further editing or mixing with your favourite effects. With the Maschine Jam, you can build up a song track for track and group specific or random notes together in a musical context. Creating a melody is as easy as selecting a scale which you can then combine with an arpeggiator, for example. Simply connect it to your computer or laptop with a USB cable and use the 64 coloured touch pads to categorise individual notes, melodies and chord progressions in standalone mode or in your DAW using the Maschine software. In this day and age, composers need to be able to put productions together quickly, and that's exactly what the Jam does.
